St Ives Apricot Face Scrub
I can see why this is apparently the UK no1 facial scrub! I would say this is by far one of the best exfoliators out there. It cost me £4.29 from Boots.
I haven't used a facial exfoliator in a while as I use the Liz Earle 'Cleanse and Polish' with muslin cloth daily. I find this has mild exfoliant properties, as in the process of washing away the cleanser your face gets a little massage and light scrub from the slightly grainy materiel of the cloth. However, I have been thinking that my skin is a little dull and pimply lately so decided to try a new scrub.
The smell of the scrub is amazing, it smells like sweet, ripe apricots! I wet my skin a little first before applying the scrub. I massage the product into my face for around 30 seconds, paying extra attention to any trouble (spotty) areas. I then rinse off with cool water and pat dry with a face towel.
My skin instantly looks fresher, smoother and all round more glowy! A perfect base for moisturiser and make up. I have been using this scrub every other day after cleansing, and am loving the results.
LUCY XOXO
